Mikraot Gedolot "HaKeter" (מקראות גדולות הכתר) is a prestigious, scientifically revised edition of the rabbinic Bible (Mikraot Gedolot) published by the Israeli Bar-Ilan University. This monumental project, led by Professor Menachem Cohen, is considered one of the most accurate printed texts of the Hebrew Bible and its classical commentaries. The text and masora (textual notes) are strictly based on the Aleppo Codex (in Hebrew Keter Aram Cova), which is the oldest and most accurate surviving manuscript of the Hebrew Bible. Earlier editions of Mikraot Gedolot (based on Ben Chaim's 16th-century edition) contained thousands of textual errors. The HaKeter version systematically corrects these errors based on medieval manuscripts. Classical medieval commentaries (such as Rashi, Ibn Ezra, Nachmanides, Radak) are printed here after careful comparison with original manuscripts, thereby removing textual distortions caused by censorship or copyists. The pages are arranged in a modern way that facilitates parallel reading of the biblical text, Aramaic translations (Targum), and individual commentaries. This volume contains the text of the Book of Jeremiah.
