The Zweigeltrebe grapes were harvested on 26 October 2015 from the St. Lawrence vineyard in Most. The must fermented slowly for five weeks in an oak barrel at a low temperature of 5–7 °C. During the slow barrel fermentation, less red pigment was released from the grape skins than is typical for the Saint Laurent variety. Therefore, the wine carries the designation “Red in Pink,” meaning a red wine wrapped in a pink robe. The wine matured for three years in an oak barrel. It has a light red colour, a subtle oak-barrel aroma, and a mature flavour. The wine contains 13.5% vol. alcohol, 3.3 g/l residual sugar, and 4.8 g/l acids. Serving temperature: 13–15 °C. Bottled: 6 July 2018. Ageing: Suitable for immediate consumption or for bottle ageing for up to five years.
