This small yet striking oil painting on cardboard (17 × 23 cm) represents one of the most iconic views of Prague's Josefov – the juxtaposition of the Old New Synagogue, the oldest preserved synagogue in Central Europe, and the turret of the Jewish Town Hall with its legendary Hebrew clock face. The artist Romana Nejdlová evokes the atmosphere of the 19th century through a warm, golden-toned color palette and a lightly stylized brushwork that balances on the border between realism and expressive shorthand.

Characteristic brick roofs with textured surfaces, delicately suggested figures of pedestrians, and a transparent sky with circling birds create an image full of quiet poetry and historical memory. An elegant black frame (overall dimensions 31 × 37 cm) underscores the intimate, collector's character of the work. The painting represents a valuable contribution to the theme of Prague Judaica in contemporary Czech painting.
