    Pinot Noir Late Harvest Kosher 2016
    dry red wine

    The grapes matured on basalt bedrock in the Bohemian Central Highlands. At the time of harvest, dry Botrytis cinerea, also known as 'noble', was present. The mash was hand-mixed for five weeks and then sieved without pressing. The wine is layered, rich, smooth and extractive. It is ruby in colour and smells of cooked fruit, sometimes even liqueur-like. On the palate it is delicious and broad, with a firm, fruity structure, reminiscent of overripe pomegranate cider. The aftertaste is long and balanced. The wine contains 12 % abv, 34,4 g/l sugar-free extract, 0,5 g/l residual sugar and 6 g/l acidity. The wine was awarded a silver medal at a competition in the Bohemia wine region.
