    The Great Ashkenazi Torah Scroll, Poland around 1900

    Large Ashkenazi Torah scroll (ktav Beis Yosef). The scroll comes from Poland around 1900, and after World War II it was used in a synagogue in the USA, as evidenced by the dedication on the satin plaque from 1959. The height of the scroll itself is 51cm, the total height of the Torah is 106cm. The scroll is in nice condition, but in order to be ritually eligible for synagogue reading, it will probably require a few minor repairs to the letters, so we cannot offer it as kosher in this condition.
